Happy Friday everyone. A few months ago it was brought to public eye that GhostShip has the ability, and is willing to exercise this ability with no discretion at all of being able to specifically block a certain user from the WinMX network for sharing specific files. After about a week of public back-lash he finally gave in admitting his wrong doings and removed these IP addresses from the block list.
If you do however search the WinMXWorld forum you will find multiple instances of GhostShip stating that it's not possible for them to block specific users/files from the network, as if the cartel found out they would have proof that WinMXWorld is able to filter the network of copyrighted files. However due to GhostShip's egotistical mind, he abused his power by putting an innocent user on the blocklist simply for sharing certain files he did not agree with having shared on the network. It's really ironic how WinMXWorld claims to not be in control, yet the network is made up of 95% (if not more) of community patch users. All of which are using the WinMXWorld block list. And each domain name is controlled by GhostShip as the people who actually own them won't do a thing unless he tells them to do so.
So what is the real reason GhostShip fake "stepped down". He sure made a big announcement over it, but he continues to act as their leader as no one else is delusional enough to keep up the twisted lies Peter (GhostShip) has created. He faked "stepping down" because everyone knew he abused his block list power, but unfortunately everyone is still blinded by the monopoly that is WinMX World.
No one likes you GhostShip. Your "staff" friends may pretend to like you as they do not want to take on the pile of lies and deceit you have created for WinMXWorld, but they do not agree with you one bit, as is shown as almost EVERYONE turned against you over this block list issue. Why it takes a whole network of users to convince someone that they are wrong is beyond me... but I will just ask you to please get help. Mental disorders are serious issues and I don't like seeing people suffer. Please get help for your issues you are having as it's only harming everyone around you. The network will probably continue to suffer until you're gone for good as that seems to be the only logical motive behind the attacks.
Everyone has the ability to block specific IP's.

ReplyDeleteThe blocklist used by WinMXWorld is used to filter fake files from your searches, and stops any ipaddress on that list from connecting to primaries using the community patch. Effectively denying them access to the whole network.
Peerblock has nothing to do with that is explained in this post.

The truth of the matter is this:
ReplyDeleteA global blocklist that affects ALL users should not be abused to include individuals. That is just wrong and against the public trust and the public will. Flooders, sure. Fakes, sure. Individuals, never.
If it were an optional blocklist, that wouls be different. But the community patch automatically loads the blocklist from the WMW controlled servers. Thus the seriousness of the issue.
